WheelPass community guidelines
WheelPass is for learning to drive safely. Some of the people here are 16 or 17. These guidelines are the same for everyone.
Be respectful
- Be polite and patient. No bullying, insults, threats, swearing at people, or discrimination of any kind.
- No sexual, romantic or inappropriate messages or behaviour. Ever. This matters most with anyone under 18.
- Respect people's time: show up, or cancel in good time.
Keep it in the app
- Chat is for arranging and talking about lessons. Keep it there. Do not move to private messages or social media.
- Do not share anyone else's personal details or photographs.
- Never pay anyone outside the details you can see in WheelPass, and never ask anyone to.
Be honest
- Profiles, prices, reviews and reports must be true.
- No fake accounts or fake reviews. Do not offer or accept anything in return for a review.
- No pretending to be someone else.
Stay safe
- Learners: you can stop a lesson at any time if you feel uncomfortable.
- Everyone: if anything worries you, use Report. You can also Block someone. They are not told that you reported or blocked them.
- If someone is in immediate danger, call 999.
What happens if the guidelines are broken
We look at every report. Depending on what happened we may remove content, warn someone, suspend them, or close their account. Where a child or adult may be at risk we may tell the police or the local authority. A suspension is not a finding of guilt: we may act first while we find out what happened.
